Frankencar

Cars get damaged. It's a fact of life, right up there with death, taxes, and washed-up muscians doing repeated farewell concerts. When cars get damaged, but not destroyed, a common repair technical is body panel replacement. I can't say for certain what happened to this unfortunate Toyota Tercel, but it must have been extensive. I snapped this car on my mobile phone (hence the less than sparkling picture quality) because it's not every day you see a vehicle with this many different colours. I'm not positive if the trunk matches the roof, but it sure doesn't match the rear quarter panel or the rear passenger side door. And the front passenger door and quarter panel don't look like they match any of the above. The bumper might be original, as some Tercels of this vintage had black bumpers, but some had body coloured ones. What colour that's supposed to be on this car is anyone's guess.
