Sometimes you see a vehicle so utterly terrible there is no choice but to stop and stare, your disbelief utterly overwhelmed. The only question you can ask yourself is "How can this be? How does someone let a truck get this, well, like this? And how on earth did it pass motor vehicle inspection?
Okay, so that was three questions. But considering the condition of this truck, that's more than fair. Before you ask, yes, this truck is actually driveable. Either that or someone drags it away and bring it back, because I've seen it parked at the Econolodge at different times, and I've seen it parked elsewhere. Someone actually drives it.

What's that, you say you've seen worse? No, no you haven't. Not outside of a junkyard or an accident scene. If you don't believe me, take a look at the view from the other angle.

Need a closer view than that? Okay, here goes, just be sure to note the gas cover and the amusingly labelled van in the background here. Here's the closeup.

Yeah, that's right, the tailgate is a sheet of plywood. Haphazardly situated plywood, it appears, and apparently held in place by a length of bailer twine. There's really nothing more to add.
