The Dodge Caravan, along with stablemates the Plymouth Voyager and Chrysler Town and Country, have been around since 1983. In no incarnation has this ever been considered a particular attractive vehicle. The example below, which appears to be a first generation model (pre 1991), with it's light beige paint job, was probably less attractive than average in it's day (and if you remember the late 1980s, there were a lot of bland cars on the road), and slapping on a once-silver door didn't exactly help. Nor did the wildly mismatched wheels. I don't think it's a case of the front one missing the hub cab, those are entirely different wheels. The fact the front wheel is slightly turned might be misleading, but I wouldn't be surprised if those wheels aren't even the same size.
It gets worse, though. You can't read it, but in the driver door window, there's a for sale sign. It's written with a light marker on a square of cardboard. Brown corrugated cardboard, of course. For all I know, the entire box is sitting in the driver's seat.
Not sure I can really blame the owner for not putting all that much effort into maintaining and selling a 20 year old minivan. At least he's optimistic that someone out there would actually want to buy it.
